Handlung:
Eine geheimnisvolle Mauer trennt seit nunmehr zehn Jahren einen Teil Tokios vom Rest der Stadt. Hinter ihr befindet sich das "Hell's Gate", von dem niemand weiß, was genau dort vor sich geht. Seit dem Auftauchen des mysteriösen Tores weiß man auch um die Existenz der sogenannten Contractors - gefühllose Wesen, mit übersinnlichen Fähigkeiten ausgestattet und zu kaltblütigen Morden fähig. Aufgabe der Polizistin Misaki Kirihara is es, die Contractors zu stoppen und so kreuzen sich die Wege von ihr, ihren Untergebenen, einer hübschen Forscherin und einem sympatischen Austauschstudenten. Dunkle Wolken brauen sich jedoch bereits am Horizont zusammen und lassen Schlimmeres erahnen.
